"I Got Five On It Fund" Drive
A big thank you to everyone who contributed to the First Annual "I Got Five On It" Fund Drive. We've still got a long way to go to reach our goal so DONATE NOW.
Since 2000, HHTF has presented Hip-Hop theater to devoted audiences in our four festival cities: NYC, Washington DC, Chicago and the San Francisco Bay Area. Bringing live, professionally executed theater written by and about the Hip-Hop generation, HHTF has consistently told urgent stories seldom represented on stage, and through language that embraces Hip-Hop's vitality. Always imbued with an undercurrent of activism, Hip-Hop Theater ignites dialogue and social change through exciting, provocative and celebratory performance.
This year, HHTF has hired a full-time Director of Education, bringing our programs to New York City public schools, universities and community youth organizations. These partnerships allow HHTF to support the next generation of young Hip-Hop art makers and audience members, and make our brand of theater more accessible to under-served young people. This has always been an important pillar upholding our work, to get young people excited about theater. If you want to help HHTF in this mission, DONATE NOW.
HHTF relies on the support from individuals. No matter how big or small, your contribution moves the work of HHTF forward. Take a look at how far your donation dollars go at Hip-Hop Theater Festival.
